Krause Power Engineering, LLC (KPE) was formed in 2006 to support the needs of electric utilities and their customers throughout the upper Midwest.  KPE is based in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, providing engineering, operations and management assistance.  

Given KPE’s broad customer base and extensive utility experience yields solutions which are technically sound, cost effective and operable.  We have proven success working on various projects such as: capacity upgrades, power supply studies, rate development, power system studies, substations, control system design and upgrades, T&D line design and expert witness testimony.
